K-Laser%u2122 Laser Treatment System

K-Laser%u2122 advanced laser treatment can be safely and effectively used for a wide range of painful conditions, including those affecting the neck, back, knee, shoulder, wrist and elbow. The K-Laser system is approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration, and has been used for many years in the treatment of acute and chronic pain conditions. It is designed to provide the body's cells with energy in order to repair and regenerate tissue. Using Intense Super-Pulse Technology, the K-Laser system targets deep-tissue layers without damaging the skin and surface tissues, thereby providing significant results with few or no side effects. A smaller amount of laser energy is used with the K-laser system than with continuous-wave and other laser systems.

In addition to providing pain relief, the K-Laser system helps to increase circulation, relax muscles, improve vascular activity and stimulate cell growth for quick healing. The K-laser system draws water, oxygen and nutrients to the damaged area to speed up healing. Arthritis, fractures, trauma and wounds, and essentially any other condition causing localized pain, can be treated with the K-Laser system.

Therapy sessions with the K-Laser system are relatively painless. Patients may feel slight warmth or tingling, but most tolerate the procedure well. Each treatment takes 5 to 10 minutes to perform; specifically how long depends on the size of the treatment area. The number of treatments required varies depending on the patient's age, overall health and individual diagnosis. Most acute injuries require 4 to 6 sessions, whereas chronic conditions can require a greater number of sessions, and on an ongoing basis. For most patients, treatment with the K-Laser system results in:

  • Pain relief
  • Reduced inflammation
  • Decrease in muscle spasms
  • Fast recovery times

Treatment with the K-Laser system is considered safe for nearly everyone. It can even be used over metal implants, broken skin or recent acute injuries. It also has veterinary applications.
